retro style crochet bag pattern (172)

As soon as the sun stars shinning in the sky and the clouds open, we know the spring is in the air!. This year I am having a very modern look at some retro classics, I have upcycled these lovely wooden handles from a bag I bought in Greenwich Market a long time ago, thinking back I reckon I bought the bag because I loved the handles!. Anyway we had a terrible winter so I am all really to make a splash of happy colours with this bag!

My patterns are all written in standard american terms. I have marked this pattern as an intermediate level

Materials: 
I used Lily Sugar n Cream solids in Aran, you will need 1 ball of each: Hot blue, Hot orange, warm brown, Robin’s egg(that is their light blue) and Sunshine (yellow). 
Crochet hook H (5mm) 
Wooden handles, I used a 7.5 inches wide (outer widest measurement)
Because the thickness of the yarn, I used sewing thread and a sewing needle to stitch the bag together, it makes the seems a lot less bulkier.
